FOTD – Dewy Skin and Winged Out Eyeshadow | The Cupid Bow

dewy skinOK so this was actually yesterday’s Face of the Day but better late than never! As we’re FINALLY veering into summer, I’m opting for the dewy skin, highlighted, sun-shining-outta-my-face kinda look. I lurrrrrve a highlight me. I like it so bright that moths are attracted to me. If you’re gunna do something, do it big. As I wanted my skin to be the main focus in this look I decided to keep the eyes softer. I’m a massive fan of the ol’ winged liner, but thought that it would be a bit harsh for this look. Instead I decided to wing it out with dark brown eyeshadow which could be blended so that the edges weren’t so harsh. I didn’t apply any liner to the upper or bottom lash line but applied lashings and lashings of mascara (and possibly a few individual lashes ahemmm). Eyeshadow has been kept simple to accentuate the eyes and again, not draw away from the skin. A great look that will look gorgeous on anyone! Mission Lightbulb accomplished!
