Face of the Day – Black, Brown and Gold Glitter Smokey Eye | The Cupid Bow

There’s only one thing I love more than a smokey eye… And that’s glitter. So what makeup look did I decide to opt for today? A glittery smokey eye. (No brownie points if you guessed that). However, it’s normally deemed that you can “never have too much glitter”. I beg to differ. You definitely can. I’d rather not go out to work everyday looking like a drag queen has exploded on my face. But if you do, that’s cool too. Each to their own 😉

The trick to using glitter in your makeup, and not overdoing it, it so just place it in select areas that will catch the light. So when using it on the eyes, I decided to place it in the centre of my lid and in the corners near my tear duct. It’s understated, yet eyecatching. And you’ll be guaranteed to not be finding it in your hair, bed and fridge. Bonus!
