3 Super Smoothie Recipes | The Cupid Bow

So we’re halfway through January… WE ARE HALFWAY THROUGH JANUARY. Wait what?! How has that even happened? That makes me feel a little bit sick actually. How are you all getting on with your New Years Resolutions? Apparently we should’ve all broken them by 8th January and only 8% of people manage to stick to them/achieve their goals. That’s a lovely bit of encouragement isn’t it! Arguably, the most popular New Year’s resolution is to lose weight or get fit. With my Vegas trip now just under 6 months away (eek) I’m on a serious mission to get fit once and for all. I strongly believe that abs are made in the kitchen, and what you put into your mouth is more important than how much you lift at the gym… I definitely do too much of one and not enough of the other. No brownie points for guessing which is which. So in order to kickstart my day into health drive, most mornings I start off with a smoothie. I’m not a huge breakfast fan, never have been, so these have been perfect to compliment my daily porridge and keep me going until lunchtime. Elevenses… I, of course, mean Elevenses. Here are three of my top smoothie recipes! Give them a whirl and let me know what you think of them in the comments below! Can you recommend any other recipes?

Apple, Strawberry, Blueberry, Rasperry and Grape

Makes 2 smoothies:

1 x green apple

Handful of raspberries

Handful of blueberries

Handful of grapes

Handful of strawberries

1 cup of coconut water

Makes 2 smoothies:

8 x chunks of pineapple

1  x small orange

5 x carrot batons

1 cup of coconut water
